Sharon Zukin
is using her emerita status as a professor of sociology and of earth and environmental sciences at Brooklyn College and the City University Graduate Center to become a documentary filmmaker. She still writes about New York, a career path that led her from Loft Living (1982) to The Innovation Complex (2020).
