Why would you put someone who didn’t think art was very good in charge of designing an art museum?

Ours is a world where everything but us gets to go up in flames.

This is the problem with taking things from the past and trying to live seamlessly in them: many people simply don’t want to. Instead, they jam together a renovation of ideas you theoretically agree with but practically reject.

Plus Pool, an imaginary bobbing lido in the East River, is a project for people who want to live somewhere else entirely.
